Poem: Take Me Home

This is just a simple, little ditty, really, but from the heart. The interesting thing is that, since I wrote it, line 6 is no longer true, and soon will be doubly untrue.

Take Me Home

Take me home that I might be
embracing one I long to see.

Once all was lost, now truth is found.
To my love’s heart I will be bound.

But where is home? Quite far away.
I’ve never been, but will, one day.

I can not wait, and yet I must.
But soon you won’t see me for dust.
